There’s much to love about a traditional Afternoon Tea, especially when its one with impeccable service, fine tableware, and- of course- delicious food and drink. It’s one of our favorite things to do when we visit Hong Kong, where it seems that every hotel has its own version. Here are our top three choices:
Peninsula Afternoon Tea
The tea that made Hong Kong famous, the Peninsula’s version is a classic. Yes, you might have to line up for it, but once you’re enjoying your freshly baked scones, clotted cream, and delightful selection of teas, you won’t regret it.
*Tip: The tea is traditionally taken in the Lobby of the Hotel (which also allows for people watching- and there are a lot of people here), but you can have it in the Verandah if you prefer more peace and quiet.
