Getting there
Trains and buses connect the valleys, but Alpine resorts are hours from Nice; plan separate bases for ice and snow events.
Use trains and organized shuttles; mountain roads can close in snow.
Hotel prices
Ski-resort rates in February are already peak-season; Games demand will push them higher.
Before & after the game
Nice's Old Town for Riviera nights; resort village restaurants in the Alps.
Tips
- Visit tip
- Book Alpine and Riviera stays separately if your tickets span both.
